How long is a session?
The duration of a shoot depends on what kind of session you book. Our mini sessions are generally 30-45 minutes long; standard sessions last about an hour and deluxe sessions run for 90 minutes or longer. For weddings or special events, the time will be fixed and established during the booking process.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made either through check, cash or Venmo. If none of these methods work for you, we can work out another form during the booking process. Payment will be due the day of the shoot.
When will I get my pictures?
Typically, a few “sneak peek” photos will be shared with customers in the hours following a session. Photoshoots are an exciting, anticipated event, so we make it a priority to share a few images the same day. This is also to ensure the phots, most namely the editing style, is what you envisioned so we can adjust accordingly.
Pictures will be uploaded as they are edited over the coming days and weeks. You should expect to receive all edited images from your shoot about 2-3 weeks after the session. You will be made aware of any changes in this projected timeline should they come up.
How will I get my pictures?
Photos will be shared digitally through Dropbox where you will be able to download images directly. This also allows for you to share your complete gallery with others using a link. If you’d like, you can also provide a thumb drive to store the images either or in place of the digital method or in conjunction with it.
Do you print photos?
No, we do not print images. We only provide digital copies of the pictures. However, these can be printed through a third party.
Do you travel?
We are based in Chester & Lancaster County, PA. However, we are willingly to travel depending on distance, session type and pay. Please reach out to us so we can discuss further!
What if I have to cancel?
Sometimes life happens, and you’ll have to cancel a session. That’s ok! Please notify us at least 24 hours beforehand via text or email. Unfortunately, because we do have to block out sessions in our schedule in advance, a $20 fee will be issued if canceling the day of.

Yes! You can find Gray Sky Portraits on Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram @grayskyportraits. Though not obligated to, feel free to tag us when you share your pictures! Most business is done through word-of-mouth, so a little share goes a long way!
