2 Sisters. 1 Team.
Gray Sky Portraits (Est. 2022) is small photography business based in Chester County PA. Run by a pair of sisters, the company is a close-knit, dynamic duo dedicated to creating images that you love and will last a lifetime. Alli is the lead photographer and the younger of the pair. She’s been shooting since she was 16 and has a passion for all things picture related. The eldest, Kristina, handles the communications and marketing side of things, and also works as Alli’s assistant during shoots.

Allison Connelly
Freelance Photographer • Multimedia Artist
I’ve been taking pictures since I was sixteen. I love life’s little moments, and I’m so blessed that my pastime allows me to do that.
While I do portraits in my spare time, my main focus is actually documentary photography. My main aspiration is to one day be a photojournalist doing freelance for a publication like Time or National Geographic. Currently, I’m a senior at Millersville University majoring in media arts production and minoring in graphic communication technology. I’ve been lucky to gain a lot of experience in both fields during my academic career. I had the unique experience of working in the marketing department at Lancaster EMS six months during an internship in 2021, and also had the privilege of helping launch, design and teach at MYSFI: a film storytelling institute aimed at uplifting multicultural youth in Howard County, Maryland. Last but not least, I’ve also had the honor of working alongside professor and award-winning filmmaker, Changfu Chang on Silent War, a documentary addressing the mental health crisis in the Asian American community. In conjunction with this, I’m currently directing my own documentary, Paper Birds: a piece on the relationship between trauma and memory, specifically that of recovered memories.
While my schedule may feel complex at times, my personal life is not! In my free time, I like to write, go for walks, play with my cat and, above all else, spend time with my nieces (out of all the titles I wear, “Aunt” is my favorite).

Kristina Lloyd
Communications & Marketing Coordinator
I’m a mother to (soon to be) three girls and have a wonderful husband who supports everything that I do. Since my firstborn, I’ve been a stay-at-home-mom, but I used to work as a nurse before that. I received my LPN certification in 2015 and get re-certified every two years to stay up to date, as I have plans to return to the field one day when my girls are a bit older.
In the meantime, I’ve picked up photography and marketing. I love pictures and how they can capture any moment weather that’s happy or sad. That’s why photography is so important to me–you get to relive that time in your life over and over again.
